This cheerful small stall, a magnet for the locals, specialises in chicken and beef noodles, with a wide range spanning phở, bún and miến. The signature phở gà is a must-try. The soft smooth noodles are deliciously paired with green onions and lemon leaves. Crispy, non-greasy quẩy (fried dough sticks) is the best match. For the adventurous, there is a range of chicken offal toppings.

I ate here during a recent stay in Hanoi. The place is small and doesn t look like much but it was recommended by a Vietnamese friend for a quick lunch. I was really pleased with the pho - it was delicious and the person preparing and serving the food was very nice. Although his English was not great, we were able to communicate well. If you are going by, I would definitely stop in.
