The name 1946 was born by improvisation but fully reflects the idea and responsibility of the owner not only for the rich history, but also the respectful attitude towards the culinary culture associated with Ke Dat Cho, Kinh Ky, Thang Long – Hanoi thousand years of civilization.
1946, therefore, is both familiar and strange to everyone. Familiar because you will find somewhere in the simple and cozy space of 1946 the intimate flavors that grandma and mother used to cook for the whole family when reunited. Strange because each dish, despite the name, is the same as in another restaurant, but the taste of 1946 is rustic and unique, making you remember it if you try it once.

Since I did not have a chance to try all foods here yet, so I will go for 4/5 rating but will update the review later. Tried here once and I must say the foods were very good and tasty. The restaurant’s decoration was excellent and reminds you a lot about the old Hanoi.
ATTENTION: will be best to come with a group of more than 4 people given that each portion of the meal was HUGE and hard to finish them all if you come alone or just 2 people.
