Quang Thuan Homestay is a traditional ancient stone stilt house of the Tay people for more than 200 years. There are dormitory rooms, a restaurant with wide views of the lake. The homestay also offers free WiFi and free private parking.
Rooms are equipped with a kitchen with a dining area and have access to a shared bathroom with a hairdryer and shower. For added convenience, towels and bed linen can be provided at an extra charge.

There is a reason I choose homestays over hotels when I can, and Quang Thuan Homestay is a prime example of why. It may not be the most comfortable but you get to hang out with a local family, enjoy delicious home cooked meals with their own fresh veggies and even rice wine!, listen to their stories (we talked about how marriages happen in this region), learn secrets about the area you re in, maybe cuddle a cat... just have a very authentic and nice experience.
Khon and her family were very lovely, warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to provide us a wonderful experience. They took us on hikes around the area, cooked for us delicious meals, and taught us so much. Thank you for sharing with me a part of your lifestyle up here in the mountains. Thanks for even the small things, like helping me with my backpack, using Google audio translate to encourage me during the hikes, taking twigs out of my jacket, for giving us food for our long drive back, for giving me medicine for my cold, for even video calling with my family ...you showed me true hospitality. And for that, this is not goodbye, merely a see you again one day! I will come back.
