The Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh is the place where Uncle Ho's remains are stored and a destination that every generation of Vietnamese people longs to visit to express their deep affection and gratitude for the leader of the nation.
Visiting the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, you will be disseminated the visiting regulations and instructions for carrying out procedures such as sending personal belongings, video recording devices, taking photos and turning off the phone, going through the security gate, etc. After completing the procedures, you will come to queue at Ba Dinh Square, waiting for your turn to visit. When it is your turn, you will enter the mausoleum, go through a circle to see the solemn space and Uncle's resting place.
Ba Dinh Square in front of the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh is the place where the flag raising ceremony of the Mausoleum of Uncle at 06:00 and the flag lowering ceremony at 21:00 every day. Therefore, coming to the mausoleum at these hours, you will witness the solemn national ceremony performed by the Marksmanship, Red Flag soldiers and the image of red flags and gold stars flying in the heroic National Anthem. On special days such as National Day and Uncle's birthday, the ceremony becomes even more important and sacred.
No visitation on Mondays and Fridays.
