Had our family’s annual Christmas dinner outage. Jackson’s Steak House was the perfect choice. Food, Service, and atmosphere was excellent. Our Head Server, Jake, made this evening’s dinner enjoyable. He was friendly, courteous and fun to be around.

Overall, the experience was good. The food was very good. We shared the oysters and bacon appetizer. For mains I had the Tournedos and my wife had the fried Red Snapper. We had chocolate mousse and creme brulee for dessert. The food all arrived hot and was very good. Everything cooked and prepared perfectly.
We each had a cocktail and a glass of wine with dinner. As expected, the meal was quite expensive at close to $200 before tip.
My complaint was the service. With only a few in the restaurant, it took a while to get our drinks and for our server to greet us. When I told him I was wondering when he would come (sarcastically) he said he was busy getting drinks. Not sure how many tables he had, but he was consistently slow with everything. There were many support severs present, pouring water, etc. so say no reason for the service to be so slow.
Good food, but definitely not my favorite PNS restaurant.
