We have eaten multiple times now at Dingos and every time we are left extremely full and satisfied. We have all eaten a range of food on the menu and never been disappointed!

We visited Dingo Deli a few times over our stay in Hoi An. Dingo was definitely a good place to buy cheese, ham, yoghurt and a few other things we needed at a reasonable price to prepare our own meals for a change from the local Vietnamese food. We also went to Dingo on one occasion to try their prepared food and feel they could do much better in this area. First, their coffee is quite good. It is not the Vietnamese strong coffee you would find everywhere else. The flavor is quite decent for its price. The best was their tuna salad sandwich on a whole meal bread. The negatives about Dingo in our opinion was their pizza that claims to be all homemade; it was not. We ordered their Margherita pizza and the crust was a definite pre-made perhaps factory made frozen and flavorless with some melted cheese and a few slices of tomato. Perhaps we have very high expectations when it comes to food, but wouldn’t everybody expect better from something so simple to made as a pizza? We like to think so, particularly from a restaurant that is over staffed, as we counted at least 10 employees (of the over 15 that we counted) just walking around not doing much. In our opinion, mind as well as trained them well to make a decent pizza crust. Our last observation of Dingos was on their menu. This is directly for those of us who are conscious about our environment. The menu of this place claims in the front that they use bamboo straws with their disclaimer titled “bye bye plastics”. This is definitely a good initiative towards a better environment, but we think it could be even better if their staff was trained to memorize a one Margherita pizza, a tuna sandwich and a coffee instead of highlighting the menu as we place the order, which surely the paper menu will end up in the trash. We know that having a business is no easy task and there is always room for improvement; Dingo deli is a nice option in Hoi An which could be much better in many aspects.
