SUP Tour Conquering Nang River and Ba Be Lake - 2 days

06:30 Get on the bus to Bac Can. Along the way we will stop for a rest before going to Cho Ra for lunch. After lunch at a local restaurant we will take a short car ride to Boc Luom marina. This is where we will begin rowing SUP down the Nang River to Dau Dang Waterfall and Ba Be Lake. 

The Nang River is quite narrow and has a strong current. The landscape along the Nang River is diverse and majestic. Many river sections run along steep cliffs, many other river sections extend the view with narrow valleys or cornfields. 

The most fascinating highlight is when we paddle through Puong Cave, a huge cave through which the river runs. Due to the strong current and we go downstream, the fact that we don't lose much strength despite the large distance of rowing. About the last 1/3 of the row before reaching Dau Dang Waterfall, the river is more challenging than the previous 2/3 with stronger currents and wilder scenery. 

Stop at Dau Dang wharf, we will walk about 1km to Dau Dang waterfall, one of the attractions of this conquest journey. Dau Dang Waterfall is quite beautiful especially in the wet season. After visiting Dau Dang Waterfall, we will get on a motor boat and go to Ba Be Lake. In the summer, the boat will stop so that we can enjoy bathing in the clear blue water of Ba Be all year round.

As soon as we arrive at the camping site, we will enjoy a welcome drink and receive a tent. Shower and rest before dinner. After a delicious dinner at the camping site, we will enjoy a fun moment by the campfire with friends before going to bed.

Note: if it rains, the homestay in Pac Ngoi village will be used as an alternative.

08:00 Breakfast at the camping site, after breakfast we will walk through Pac Ngoi village and trek through the forest for about 2.5hr to reach An Ma island. This trek route is quite gentle because the altitude is not great and most of the time we follow the trail that is not too difficult. At the end of the trek we will arrive at An Ma Island, the largest island on Ba Be Lake. 

On the island, there is An Ma temple which is very sacred. Visit An Ma Temple, then we will paddle SUP to the lunch spot on the opposite bank of Ba Be Lake. Shower, change clothes and have lunch at the restaurant before moving to the pick up point to board the bus back to Hanoi. Return to Hanoi around 19:00. End of the amazing conquest.
