Well worth the short trip through the suburbs, The Deck offers a stunning example of intelligent "fusion" cuisine with a perfectly orchestrated mix of local (pancakes or spring rolls ) and Western classics ( carpaccios or ceviches).
The impeccable service is in tune with the flawless freshness of all the products. Everything, including the bread and amuse-gueules, was delicious. The team in the kitchen got an unanimous approval from our group of six seasoned travellers who all chose different dishes. Surrounded by magnificent orchids, we enjoyed the peaceful view of Saigon River at our feet, as the meal progressed so smoothly that we forgot for a moment that Saïgon was re-baptized nearly 50 years ago. The Paris of the East is still well alive in many places across the city and this is definitely one of them . Heartfelt congratulations.

The place is located in an expat enclave away from the hustle and bustle of District 1.
It’s a beautiful place to dine. Lovely ambience. We had a seat by the river and we’re there from 5.30pm till 8pm. Comfortable breeze and view.
Food-wise, it’s really nothing to shout about especially with the price-point. If you are coming for food, you are better off somewhere else.
I did enjoy the chocolate bomb dessert.
