El Gaucho – Argentinian Steakhouse
Add collectionContact Information
Bringing attractive Argentine flavors from South America, the El Gaucho Argentinian Steakhouse restaurant chain captivates gourmet diners with beefsteak portions made from American and Australian beefsteak,... It is naturally soft and uses a hand-grilled charcoal oven to preserve the original flavor of meat dishes.
In addition, the space and interior are luxuriously designed, mixing classic and disruptive features to spread romance and coziness to diners present.

I visited here mid-April 23 with my wife whilst on a long tour of South East Asia.
The restaurant was very busy, however we had booked in advance so we were shown immediately to our table. The Restaurant is large over 2 floors and very nicely furnished. Tables are quite close together, but not intrusively so.
The service was friendly, quick (even though busy), and attentive. We enjoyed a couple of nice cocktails, and I had a very good lobster and crab soup. My wife is a vegetarian, but there was a good selection for her to choose from, and she settled on the Spaghetti Pomodoro, which she said was lovely. I had the (13oz) Ribeye, with jacket potato, etc. I must say it was one of the nicest steaks I have had in a very long while.
Excellent evening, very enjoyable.

We were looking for a high end meal in Ho Chi Minh and it was a little late so we decided on El Gaucho. There was a bit of a wait but we got a table and were very pleased with both the food and the service. The drink .. a moscow mule; not so much and they tried 2x. After a few weeks in SE Asia I just came to the determination that mixed drinks is just not something they do well; and that s ok.
The meal here was great from the Empanada starter to the lamb chops (me) and Wagyu Rib Eye (guest) with truffle mac and cheese and sauteed mushrooms for sides. YES!
I left full and fulfilled. Sooo happy we decided to stop in and get a table.
I can tell this is a key local spot because I saw a business dinner, friends out and date night all happening on the second floor and the waiters were hustling all night.
I m not rating this as a good value only because it s a steakhouse, you are not doing a value meal it s going to be pricey, as you would expect a steakhouse to be anywhere.
Well worth a visit.
