Gieo Cafe & Restaurant revives a country soul, in many different corners of each person's countryside. The old idyllic living objects of many Vietnamese villages, installed as a contemporary work of art.

なぜか日本のメニューが散見されるカフェ。
オーナーが日本人だという説もあるようだが、真偽は不明。それなら、メニューだけでなく他に日本語表記がたくさんあっても良いはずだ。
店は２階部分にあるが、リバービューの席は階段を上がった１テーブルだけ。あとは室内からのビューとなる。
もっとも、見える景色は対岸の工場（工事現場？）で、お世辞にも良いとは言えない。立地が悪いのにこの景色では、わざわざ出かける価値は無いだろう。
驚きだったのは、メニューにサービス料10%加算と書かれていた事。ここはぼったくりのタイではない。ベトナムのカフェで別枠サービス料なんて、まったく似合わない。実際にはサービス料加算は無かったが、早急にメニュー表記を見直すべきだろう。
ちなみに、客は先客１組だけで、その後は私ひとりだけ。
１時間近く粘ったが、誰も客が来なかったのは、魅力に欠けるという評価だからだと思う。個人的には、価格設定が高いこととも理由だと分析している。高いから店頭に価格表記付きメニューを掲示できないんだろうけど、逆効果だ。
