This restaurant was recommended by our guide when we first arrived in Saigon. We went there on our first evening, and then back again for lunch on our final day. It is situated down a narrow alleyway but we found it easily with the instructions given by our guide. (He mentioned that this was his go to restaurant when he was going for a meal with friends.) The restaurant is small and you will generally have to share one of the long tables with other people. You may also need to wait to be seated, though on both occasions the wait was no more than ten minutes (after initially being told that it could be half an hour). However, it is worth it as the food is very good, albeit a bit more expensive than in some other establishments. (And note that the menu price does not include tax which adds 8% to the bill.)

Located in a small alley, the place is plenty of tourists but the food is still very good and authentic. Reasonable price. Suoer friendly and helpful staff.
