Gia Long Waterfall is formed by the basalt flow of Nam Blang volcano covering sedimentary rock. Above the source is an area with beautiful scenery and colors. The trees and grass are lush, the golden sunlight shines brightly, the flowers and leaves show off their colors. When the current pours into the gorge, forming a large lake at the bottom of the waterfall, it is the time when the water transforms and rises up with a rolling and powerful vitality, causing a sound that resonates with the whole deep forest.

The Central Highlands forest is mainly a sparse forest, also known as a seasonal broadleaf sparse forest. In the dry season, the leaves shed a lot. Passing through the dry leaves of this season, creating a crisp cracking sound, that is also the characteristic of why it is called the forest of shells. Throughout the road leading to the waterfall, you can see many animals. From the herds of buffalo grazing on the side of the road, each flock of storks flying far away on the top of tall trees to all kinds of birds chirping in the forest. The feeling of walking through the forest still smells damp to get down to the waterfall. That smell does not come from the water dust from the waterfall, nor from the damp grass on the trail, but from the tiny particles of water in the space that carry the taste of summer, rushing straight into the strong and fragrant nose wing.

Gia Long Waterfall is not as majestic as other waterfalls in the Central Highlands, with a width of about 100m, a height of 30m but surrounded by vast green primeval forests, water pours directly from above without any obstacles to create a waterfall, white foam is like stray clouds in the middle of the wilderness, is enough to make tourists overwhelmed when witnessing
At the foot of Gia Long Dak Lak waterfall, there are clear blue lakes and some rocky rapids that have been eroded by water to form many different shapes, like a deserted oasis in the middle of the sea.
