Lanxia Bay
The bay is located in the east, which is a member of the Association of Clubs of the World's Most Beautiful Bays (MBBW). It has calm and blue waters. At Cai Beo wharf, visitors buy scenic tickets for 30,000 VND per person, then take a train or canoe to Lan Ha. Private boat charter prices are 2.2 - 3.8 and 5.7 million VND for 2.5 - 4 and 6 hours, respectively, the ship can carry 25 people. Motorboats cost 500,000 - 1 million VND, corresponding to the type that can carry 5 - 10 people.
Tourists should buy a tour to save, about 200,000 – 350,000 VND per guest with lunch. Popular itineraries include visiting the bay and ancient fishing villages, bathing and diving in some pristine beaches, and free kayaking.

Cai Beo ancient fishing village
The village is also called Cung O, which is considered the oldest fishing village in Vietnam. Coming here, visitors can learn firsthand the lifestyle of the people from thousands of years. Stepping up to the raft, rowing a boat weaving among the floating rafts, buying seafood... are experiences that should not be missed.

Monkey Island
Previously, it was also called Cat Pineapple because of the growth of many wild pineapple trees. There are more than 20 monkeys on the island. When there are many tourists, they are bolder, go down to the beach to play and beg for food.

Cat Ba National Park
This is also the world's biosphere reserve. Visitors can choose to climb the mountain in 4-8 hours, or the short route is more than 2 hours. Walking, bicycle, motorbike or car for 2-3 hours is also the choice of many people. Visitors can go through the green Kim Giao forest, go to the top of the Musketeers to see the panoramic view of the national park, see forest animals at night, explore caves...

Military Medicine Cave
This is a unique destination, about 8.5 km from the town center, on the way to the national park. The cave is a field hospital project, built from 1963 to 1965.
Entering the cave, many visitors could not help but be surprised to see that the system of 17 rooms is located on three floors; there are medical treatment rooms, rehabilitation practice areas, cinema rooms..;. has a bulletproof door design, born during the war.

Trung Trang Cave
Located in the same direction of Quan Y cave, visitors should visit the cave about 300 m long through the mountain, which can accommodate hundreds of people. The stalactite system and stalagmites here are large, many shapes, sparkling, about 6 million years old, and continue to be formed by dripping water slots. This place also contains archaeological remains of the ancient Vietnamese.

Cannon Fortress
To both visit and rest, visitors can go to the relics of the Cannonball fortress, also known as Peak 177. The two large cannons and the trench system on the top of the mountain, built in the 1940s, are still quite intact.
What attracts many tourists is the high location, from which you can see the whole view of the bay. This place is suitable for watching the sunrise and sunset on the island.
Sightseeing tickets are 80,000 VND per person. Guests who want to ride the tram will pay an additional 50,000 VND per person. In addition, the fee for sightseeing with binoculars is 5,000 VND.
Beautiful beaches on Cat Ba Island
If you don't have time to explore the islands outside the bay, head to the central beaches. In particular, Cat Co beach cluster and Tung Thu beach are visited by many people. These beaches are spacious, calm waves, blue water, and easy to navigate.
