The magnificent waterfalls of the Central Highlands

Translated by Bing
Standing in front of the majestic waterfalls of the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands, visitors cannot help but be dumbfounded, amazed by the poetic and mysterious beauty.

Dam B'ri Waterfall

★ Village 14 Ly Thai To, Dam'ri, Bao Loc, Lam Dong

Nature has favorably blessed Lam Dong with countless wild and magnificent waterfalls. Among them, DamB'ri waterfall is considered a masterpiece in the middle of the old forest with a height of up to 57m and a measured width of 30m.

The scene that is often seen here is a space with a bit of hazy smog because of the tiny white bubbles bouncing from the foot of the waterfall, so on sunny days, you have the opportunity to admire each strip of rainbow shimmering faintly on the water. Clusters of flowers scattered below the base of the waterfall, huts, simple roofs and unique paths leading out of the middle of the small stream, all make for a beautiful landscape like a fairyland.

Pongour Falls

★ Phu Hoi Commune, Duc Trong District, Lam Dong Province

Nam Thien De Nhat Pongour Waterfall is a famous beautiful waterfall, the most majestic in the Central Highlands, pouring from a height of nearly 40m, spreading more than 100m, through a multi-tiered stone terrace system. Surrounding the waterfall is a primeval forest with diverse and rich vegetation.

Pongour Waterfall is divided into 7 floors. The stone steps are flat, arranged in layers, "tearing" the water source into hundreds of small streams, forming mats of water that splash white foam. Below the waterfall is a wide, peaceful lake with many rocks undulating in the middle of the water.

Lieng Nung Waterfall

★ Dak Nia Commune, Gia Nghia Town, Dak Nong Province

Lieng Nung Waterfall, also known as Dieu Thanh Waterfall, is one of the waterfalls in the Central Highlands with poetic beauty that visitors should not miss. With a height of more than 30m, standing from a distance looking back, the waterfall appears like a prominent white silk strip in the middle of natural mountains and forests. The stream of water pours down the rocks, splashing on tiny water particles blending with the sunlight to create beautiful "tiny" rainbow strips that cannot be taken off the eye. The whole mountain seemed to lean in front of Lieng Nung, there was no other sound, only a proud and powerful solo performance. Perhaps that's why this place is still called the "gate of heaven".

Dray Nur Waterfall - Dray Sap

★ Kuop Village, Dray Sap Commune, Krong Ana District, Dak Lak Province

Referring to Buon Ma Thuot, it is impossible not to mention the majestic Dray Nur - Dray Sap waterfall cluster next to the poetic and lyrical Serepok River.

From the craggy cliff, the waterfall leans down into a deep river, creating a magical natural picture of the mountains and forests of the Central Highlands. In the rainy season, the water pours violently, and the water dust splashes up, making a large area very fantastic. Many people who love to explore nature when admiring these two waterfalls cannot help but be surprised and captivated.

Elephant Waterfall

★ Nam Ban Town, Lam Ha District, Lam Dong Province

Voi Waterfall is located about 25km from Da Lat, with a width of about 40m and a height of more than 30m. There are rocks in the shape of a baby elephant on the side of the waterfall, so it is called Elephant Waterfall.

When coming to Elephant Waterfall, especially people cannot ignore the location of the Bat Cave located in the middle of the waterfall. From the Voi waterfall down to Hang Doi, you have to pass 145 three-level steps that are quite roundabout, sometimes the stone steps attached to the cliff, sometimes the steps of the wooden bridge. The path is quite slippery and in some places there is red soil, the iron fist bar has broken places, so you have to be very careful when coming to the waterfall.

The sound of birds chirping, the mountains and hills slumping, the sound of streams gurgling like love songs. Somewhere in the middle of the majestic natural scenery of mountains and hills, Thuy Tien waterfall winds across the forest like a unique dot on the water painting. All as if recounting ancient legends imbued with love.
