From March to April this year, azaleas bloom in many northern mountainous areas, especially the bow to the peak of West Kunling, about 40 km from the center of Ha Giang city. Trekking up the mountain at this time, visitors seem to get lost in the fairy land with rhododendron trees producing pink flowers, hidden behind the fog.
Rhododendron stems that grow naturally in forests often have moss around them. The higher it goes, the thicker the flowers grow and bloom beautifully.
New trekking palace, originating from Cao Bo commune, Vi Xuyen - a mountainous border district in Ha Giang province. This road has only been open for about four months, shortening the distance by half compared to going from Huang Sufei.
This route is easy to follow if it is dry, almost anyone can reach the top of West Kunling without spending too much effort. From the edge of the forest to the summit about 6.5 km, the road is gentle, there are no steep slopes.

After a trekking session, the group reached the geodetic landmark of West Kunling peak at an altitude of 2,428 m. This is the highest peak in the Northeast, known as the 'roof of the Northeast' and the sacred mountain range of the Luo Chi ethnic people.
