Hon Nua Island is the southernmost island of Phu Yen, located just below the foot of Ca Pass, which is the natural boundary between 2 provinces of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen. The island is uninhabited, on the island there is only an army information station and a bird's nest cave. Currently, there is only seafood service on the fish raft with simple dishes, there are no restaurants on the island. You can bring your own things to the island to camp or go on a tour of Hon Nua for 2 days and 1 night to fully enjoy the wild beauty of this place.
Notes when traveling to Hon Nua – Phu Yen
This is a desert island with not many people living there, there are no service shops, so it is best for you to prepare your own food, water, and necessary items before going to the island.
The island has quite harsh weather, make sure to have adequate sun protection so as not to affect your skin, especially for women.
It is recommended to bring a few more clothes or swimwear for convenient swimming, snorkeling to see corals or experience crab catching snails on your own.
You can buy seafood caught by the locals as a gift because the price is very cheap and there are all kinds of fresh and delicious products for you to choose from.
When you set foot on Hon Nua, you have to declare to the guards on the island to ask for permission to sleep.
