Kieu Cave is a large cave located in An Bo mountain of Le Thuy and Quang Binh districts. The cave was put into tourism operation in early 2021.
The cave is about 50 km southwest of Dong Hoi City. After arriving at Co Da village (Ngan Thuy commune, Le Thuy commune) by car, visitors walk a distance of about 2 km to reach the foot of the mountain. Along the way, the scenery of the stilt houses of the indigenous Van Kieu people appears among the mountains and forests.
The entrance to Kieu cave is quite large and slopes down, visitors are equipped with a number of equipment to ensure safety when descending into the cave. These safety devices are carried by guides and porters to serve visitors. After descending below the mouth of the cave, you will meet another large cave mouth, with two different paths to conquer Kieu cave.
Occasionally, there are several stepped waterholes in the cave. At some times when there is water, these pits are jade green, glittering. In the cave, there are passages where visitors will encounter a large area with stalactites of various shapes. Every step of the way is a non-repeating experience.
Kieu Cave brings a range of emotions that few places have. I was truly overwhelmed with the magnificent and unspoiled beauty of the cave. Xiang Qiao is a cave that is not too difficult to conquer. Currently, the cave is organized on a joint tour or group tour. Guests can choose from a one-day or 2-day-one-night schedule.
After a 4-hour journey to explore Kieu cave, out of Kieu cave, visitors camp in the valley of love, enjoy dishes with local flavors.
Kieu Cave combined with the valley of love, Cha Loi cave, Co Da village and trekking along the cold water gap is an attractive experience activity in the west of Le Thuy district. The Kieu cave operator is restarting these tours to welcome guests.
