Ta Chi Nhu Peak (Yen Bai) is located at an altitude of 2,979m above sea level, this is the 7th highest peak in Vietnam, rated 6/10 in terms of difficulty when conquering.
In the past two years, Ta Chi Nhu is one of the most popular climbing arcs in the North thanks to its majestic natural landscape, owning a unique "sea" of chipau flowers growing at an altitude of more than 2,000m.
Every year, the climbing season of Ta Chi Nhu usually starts from mid-September to mid-November. This year, due to the influence of the storm, until the beginning of October, the tours to conquer this mountain peak began to start and were crowded.
After the storm, nature in Ta Chi Nhu regained its majestic beauty. The closer you get to the top, the more surprising the landscape is. The journey of hunting flowers and clouds on the top of Ta Chi Nhu usually lasts two days and one night. Guests can go independently, join a group to hire a package guide with prices ranging from 1.8 to 3 million VND (depending on the number of people in the group).
From the undulating, blue mountains to the sea of floating clouds like a fairytale and the moment of watching the sunrise gradually looms at the intersection of white clouds and blue mountains.
This is also the time when the chipau flower - a specialty flower of Ta Chi Nhu peak blooms. The sea of flowers with tiny buds, purple and white covering the whole mountain.
Although the total distance is not too far, the terrain of this climbing arc consists of many short and continuous slopes, which is easy to lose strength for those who have never experienced or are physically weak.
From Hanoi, tourists travel by sleeper bus to Tram Tau (Yen Bai). Then continue to walk another distance of about 15km to the Lead Mine. To reach the top of the mountain, it usually takes about 8 hours, if the road is favorable. In addition, you can also go on a tour, the price is about 2.9-4 million VND/tour with a package of meals, sleeping, transportation, group leaders...
