Climbing cliffs, exploring Huu Lung, Lang Son

Translated by Bing
Weekend climbs to the beautiful limestone cliffs of Huu Lung district, Lang Son, a two-hour drive north of Hanoi have been chosen by many young people and foreign tourists recently.

Founded in 2005, Vietclimb was originally merely a climbing club. By 2011, the club officially owned the first and only professional indoor climbing gym in Hanoi. Since 2012, Vietclimb has boldly installed technical facilities and expanded all 110 existing climbing routes in Huu Lung.

Visiting Yen Thinh, anyone can participate in climbing experiences at these routes. The club caters to everything from equipment rental to climbing instruction for participants of all levels.

Despite its great potential, in Vietnam, adventure climbing is still unknown to many people. In recent years, this sport has become more and more popular around the world, the climbing community in Vietnam has also gradually been formed.

Those who participate in the trip usually stay at Vietclimb Homestay, which is also managed by the club. Homestay is located in the middle of a large valley in Yen Thinh commune, very convenient to move to the towering cliffs and also close enough for members to learn more about the lives of indigenous people.
