Recently, the people of Truong Son commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province discovered a beautiful cave system in the middle of the forest with beautiful and pristine stalactite blocks.

The cave is more than 1.5 km long, the highest point of the cave entrance is about 30 m, located in the middle of the forest belonging to the Forest Management Board of Quang Ninh district, temporarily called Son Nu cave in the locality.

This cave is located about 7 km from the center of the commune. To get to the cave, you have to walk through the forest into Dinh Do village, then it takes about 1 hour to cross the sharp cat's ear rock mountain under the old forest canopy.

In the cave, there is an underground stream originating from the Vietnam-Laos border passing through Doc May village and then flowing through Son Nu cave to the old Dinh Do village and then blending into Khe Cac stream. In summer, there is not much water in the cave, in 1 hour, people can row boats from the beginning of the cave to the end of the cave.

The white stalactites in the cave flowed down, spilling out like a giant white silk sheet that sparkled soft, sparkling as a result of nature's tectonics for a long time.

Before coming to this beautiful scene, it is a long and arduous journey through the old forest.

Currently, Truong Son commune has many beautiful landscapes suitable for tourism development such as: Tam Lu waterfall, Cha Tung stream, Cha Rao stream, especially the system of mysterious caves deep in the ground such as: Cha Tung cave, Cha Rao cave and recently discovered Son Nu cave.
