Short Trekking
The white cliff is located on Ma Pi Leng pass and about 2 km from Dong Van district, Meo Vac. The trail along the white cliff is a trekking spot that is conquered by adventurous tourists when coming to Ha Giang. In recent years, the bush tourism community has discovered a flat campsite, deeply ingrained in the heart of the white cliff and known as the eye of Ma Pi Leng.
According to locals, the trail along the white cliff is the main passage between Dong Van and Meo Vac districts. There are 3 trails located on Ma Pi Leng Pass leading to the campsite, the trekking distance ranges from 1-5 km. In particular, the road with iron railings running along it is the most trekking by tourists. The trekking journey is not too long, but it is easy to lose strength due to the gradual thinning of the air plus the decrease in temperature when it is high.

Sleeping place with a "thousand stars" view
The campsite is about 15-20 m2 wide, 5-6 single tents can be erected. However, the area is limited, so only a maximum of 10 people can gather at the same time. Before arriving, visitors should ask the local guide or the surrounding people about the situation.
Standing from the campsite and zooming out into the distance, visitors can fully admire the beauty of the Nho Que River, the groups of people backpacking one after another on Hanh Phuc road, people's houses or mountains covered with trees.
In the morning, watching the sunrise from an altitude of nearly 1,700 m is also a worthwhile experience. "At about 6:30 a.m., our group set up tents. The sun began to shine and the clouds became dense, and the scene gradually sank into a hazy white mist. The trail also has many girls wearing colorful dresses to go to the market early," the female tourist described. Because there is no Wifi, only wild and quiet nature, everyone can have fun together. The group grilled food, sipped a cup of warm tea and admired the sea of floating clouds, the Nho Que river and the winding Ma Pi Leng pass.

To get to this place, tourists follow the Ma Pi Leng pass located on National Highway 4C (Hanh Phuc road). Besides, there is also a section of road called Ma Pi Leng Small (Ma Pi Leng B) which only backpackers' motorbikes can go, cars cannot. Ha Giang White Cliff is located on a small section of Ma Pi Leng Pass. However, the motorbike road is only about 3 km long, then you have to walk about 2 km more. The journey is arduous, but when you reach the cliff, the fatigue disappears because in front of you is a blue sky, rolling hills and mountains

Notes when camping on the white cliff
There is no water source, so you need to prepare domestic water carefully; the nearest grocery store is also a 30-minute walk plus 2 km by motorbike, so it is necessary to take the initiative in food and food.
It was quite foggy at high altitude, trekking in the morning the road was quite slippery, so everyone moved slowly, and the friction shoes were good to avoid falling. It is only possible to go by motorbike in the Ma Pi Leng section turning up.
