Translated by Bing
If you are planning an upcoming short vacation in Hoa Binh but do not know how to choose a destination and itinerary, let Migo suggest you attractions when traveling to Hoa Binh that should not be missed.

Hoa Binh with a pleasant climate, favorable geographical location and countless interesting and attractive things is a destination chosen by many people for vacations with family and friends.

Mu Waterfall

Mu Waterfall is about 130km from Hanoi, in Lac Son district, Hoa Binh. This place is likened to a fairy place, like a paradise in the middle of the world. The scenery here is extremely majestic with the cool white water pouring down the white rocks like silk strips among the wild mountains and forests.

The best time for you to explore Mu Waterfall is from May 5 to September every year. This is the summer time, Mu Waterfall is like a giant cool air conditioner with billowing cascades blowing away all the fatigue and sultry of the urban heat. The soul of visitors is also washed by the fresh water at the foot of the waterfall that has flowed down into a wide swimming pool.

Visitors can experience waterfall bathing, enjoy BBQ parties right by the stream with Hoa Binh specialties such as lam rice, mountain snails, mountain crab, grilled stream fish ... One more jug of wine that needs peace is nothing more.

The dry season at Mu Waterfall takes place from October to April 4 next year, this is the time when Mu Waterfall is misty. However, the mysterious wild mountains and forests here still attract feet who are eager to explore and experience. This is also the perfect time for visitors to explore Mu cave with its magnificent, fanciful, sparkling stalactite system like gold every time like natural masterpieces

Currently, there are no direct buses from Hanoi to Thac Mu, so the most suitable way to travel is by private vehicle such as motorbike or car. The road to Mu Waterfall town is surrounded by winding, rugged hills but extremely impressive scenery.  The road is small but 16-seater cars can still be accessed, there are small bends that are a bit sharp when moving to note.

Recommended ticket price: 5,000vnd/person
