Three beautiful islands must come this summer in Phu Yen

Translated by Bing
With a coastline of more than 132 km, unspoiled natural scenery and many activities associated with local culture, Phu Yen is a must-visit place in Vietnam this summer.

Hon Noi Island

Hon Noi Island borders Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa, along the same road as Mui Dien, so visitors can arrange to go to 2 places during the day. On the road from National Highway 1 through Ca Pass, visitors can easily see Vung Ro Bay and islands towering in the middle of the sea.

Arriving in Hon Nua, visitors can experience more activities such as swimming, SUP paddling and kayaking, participating in scuba diving tours to see corals and taking beautiful photos with the clear blue water. Because the island is still pristine, has not developed many services and attractions, visitors should only go for one session.

From the mainland, visitors move to the island by rented canoes at Nha Be wharves, the price is about 800,000 VND to 1.5 million VND depending on the number of people. Upon returning to the wharf, guests can enjoy fresh seafood at floating restaurants.

How to get to Hon Noi

Hon Yen

Standing in Nhon Hoi village looking out, you will see two large and small islands lying next to each other, only about 100m from the shore. The large island with a huge cone tip and steep cliffs is often called Hon Yen, while the smaller island is Hon Cartilage.

Hon Yen complex consists of rocky beaches connecting the mainland with Hon Yen and Hon Boil, creating beautiful landscapes by the sea. This place converges many natural, geological and biological values, notably terrestrial coral reefs. The reason this place is called Hon Yen because in the past many birds naturally chose this place to nest, multiply and dwell. However, today, the bird's nest is mostly migratory and concentrated in Hon Noi and Hon Sam.

Coming here, visitors can freely swim, walk on the rocks and join the people to harvest and peel sea urchins. If you want to explore more closely, visitors should rent a basket boat to go out into the middle of the sea to see Hon Yen close-up, snorkel to see corals and many marine species. The price is about 250,000-400,000 VND/boat (capacity for 4 people) and unlimited time.

To spend money moving to Hon Yen, you can go in two ways:

Departing from Tuy Hoa city, you run along the National Highway 1A for about 15km to Phu Diem junction. From here, turn right onto the concrete road or ask for directions to Nhon Hoi village. From Nhon Hoi village, you can take a boat to Hon Yen island.

Or you can start from Le Duan street (city center) running along the coastal road and go through 3 communes An Phu, An Chan, An My to reach Yen market. From here, turn to Hon Yen beach and rent boats from locals to go to the island.

Roof Island

Roof Nha Island is also known as Robinson Island of Phu Yen because of its area of only about 1.2 km2, without electricity and Internet. In return, this place owns a clean beach, colorful coral reefs and rocky mountains mixed with low-level forests. The rental price of canoes to the isle is about 100,000 – 200,000 VND / person.

In addition, there is a natural lake, formed from a stagnant depression in the surface of the rock. Guests can take a dip in the water or participate in catching snails or fishing with the locals.
