Ban Gioc Waterfall is a heritage site located in the area of the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark in Dam Thuy commune, Cao Bang province, about 350 km from the capital Hanoi.
Ban Gioc Waterfall is a famous waterfall not only in our country but also known to international friends. Being in the top 4 largest transnational waterfalls worldwide, this place is increasingly attracting a lot of Cao Bang tourists to see.
Between the four pools of forests and mountains, the clouds of the Northeast, Ban Gioc waterfall stands tall like a strip of pure white silk in the middle of a beautiful natural picture like a fairytale.
The waterfall flows straight from the top to form white patches in the middle of Cao Bang heaven and earth, interspersed with greenery.
The whole scene of the waterfall gives people a sense of simplicity and wildness but is so wild that it overwhelms the mind. The waterfall water is sometimes swirling, sometimes gentle, but it never stops flowing.
The clear water of the Quy Son river is like a bright mirror, reflecting the natural mountains and forests all year round. On both banks are each green field plot of the Nung and Tay ethnic people who settled down and established a business in Ban Gioc hamlet.
If traveling from Hanoi, visitors can take a high-quality bus to Cao Bang City at My Dinh bus station. The bus usually departs at around 8 pm with the price of a sleeper car about 200,000 VND/person.
From the place where it begins to flow into Cao Bang, wherever you go, the Quay Son River creates beautiful scenery like a "wonderland".
The most impressive moment of the Cao Bang Mountain Quay is early in the morning, when the sun has not yet risen from the top of the mountain, the mist has not yet dissipated, hugging the river surface, covering the surrounding scenery, making the space like a fantastical fairytale place
Ban Gioc Waterfall (Cao Bang) owns a beautiful landscape, known as the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam. Seen from a distance, the waterfall is as beautiful and soft as a strip of silk in the sky.
