Vietnam House used to be an ancient building with colonial architecture, located at the corner of Dong Khoi and Mac Thi Buoi streets. In the 1900s, this was once the prestigious restaurant L'Imperial, frequented by successful businessmen. Currently, Vietnam House restaurant is run by famous Vietnamese-Australian chef Luke Nguyen.
The menu of the restaurant is traditional Vietnamese dishes along 3 regions that are creatively transformed. The pancakes are served with Alaskan king crab and Iberico black pork, beef stock served with crushed beans and truffles. In addition, the restaurant also offers more than 500 premium wines from all over the world.

There is food as good as Vietnam House elsewhere in HCMC, but the decor and service make a meal here quite an occasion. Unashamedly over the top, it s a great place for that one big night out before getting more adventurous elsewhere. Delicious!

Oui c’est bon, plats satisfaisants et service rapide. Ambiance plutôt bistrot, mais le rapport qualité/prix pour la ville et le pays est loin d’être satisfaisant. La cuisine reste simple et n’attendrez pas à une expérience gustative extraordinaire.
