We’ve recently returned from a 7 night stay that unfortunately coincided with increase in Coronavirus cases in Vietnam and across the world generally so that did unfortunately impact. Given the reduction in guests and restriction put into place by local authorities, we weren’t able to use the Spa or take advantage of the courtesy bus (at one point we were the only two guests) but the level of service received in terms of front of house, cleaning, upkeep of the resort & use of the restaurant and bar weren’t at all adversely compromised. This is a nice, relaxing place to stay, located around an hours walk into Hoi An or around 30 minutes by bike, of which complimentary use is provided by the hotel. All staff displayed a genuine warmth and interest in our plans and were unfailingly polite. That said, with so few guests, it’s difficult to ignore the lack of variance of breakfast buffet options, the reduced bar snack menu and the constant encouragement not to use taxis for fear of inflection- particularly as there’s few restaurants in walking distance open at present or the fact that one of the bikes we took out was unsafe. All things considered though I would recommend staying here. It’s got a lovely pool and the rooms are great (we had a standard one as booked and were pleasantly surprised by the facilities and the location right beside the river and within 2kms walk of a decent beach too.
