Saigon is a nightlife city and if you are interested in the bustle and noise, Prague Vietnam is a reasonable stop because the hotel is located right on Pham Ngu Lao street, just a 1-minute walk from Bui Vien pedestrian street. This will be a suitable destination for those of you who like to travel alone. Modern, simple style is the dominant style in Prague. The highlight is the rooftop pool with a panoramic view of the city that will make you as relaxed as possible.

Walked in off the street and got a room for 700,000 dongs after some negotiations. Felt very comfortable and was lucky to get the top floor. Room as perfect with amazing view of downtown from the balcony. Bathroom was a glass partition but as it was just me it didn’t matter. Bed was massive and TV was a good size with several western news and movie channels but had to get reception to send someone to retune cable. Breakfast was above average. Pool was a slight disappointment due to its tiny size but was okay for a soak. Staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend

The hotel is along a narrow street and it rained heavily just as we arrived, and there was no shelter! We got rather wet. Fortunately there was a porter who helped with the luggage. There are many good eateries and convenience stores just outside the hotel. They upgraded our rooms for some reason, and I really liked our room view of the apartments opposite as well as a wonderfully ornate temple (forgot room number but it was 501 or 502). At night you can hear the devotees chanting but it s not loud (found it soothing), in fact at night there is a lot of activity along the street but it didn t penetrate the walls and I was not bothered at all and managed to sleep. I found it interesting being on a street like this where you can see the locals going about their daily life.
The bathroom design was not good, it is long and narrow and there is no place to hang your towel when bathing and you have to walk across the whole bathroom to the other end where the towel rack is, making the whole floor wet in the process. Also the dustbin is placed in front of the toilet bowl (nowhere you can move it) so when you re sitting on the bowl your knees are practically touching the dustbin. And although the dustbins (both in bathroom and room itself) are large enough, the plastic bags fitted in them are so small that you just need to throw a few items away and they re full.
There are nearby places you can visit like the central market, however we tried walking to the opera house to take the city tour and I found the distance rather far as I am physically not strong. When we were leaving they informed us our fridge was missing some coke and beer and wanted to charge us for it, but we hadn t taken it (we don t drink beer or coke). Fortunately the reception staff called his manager who said we didn t have to pay, but it was a bit upsetting. I would stay again, though, and recommend it to others.
