Cannon Fortress

Cat Ba Cannon Fortress, also known as Fort 177, is the highest coordinate on the "blue pearl" consisting of military moats, bunkers and large anti-sea cannons built in 1940. When arriving here, visitors will not be able to admire the fortified military construction as well as be able to admire the beautiful scenery of Cat Ba. Right at the foot of the Fort are two beautiful beaches called Cat Co 1 and Cat Co 2. When you look at the glass on the observation deck, you can also clearly see the houses people live in - a strangely peaceful scene. Thanks to this prime location, the base protrudes to 3 sides facing the sea, allowing visitors to capture the entire East Sea in sight.
