Khai Hoan fish sauce barrel house

Khai Hoan fish sauce is famous because it is produced according to a closed process, with anchovy fishing boats and boats transporting fish to the facility. There are dozens of large wooden crates lined up on the cement floor, inside containing about 14 to 17 tons of fish caught from Phu Quoc sea. Khai Hoan fish sauce barrel house is more than 200 years old, is one of the oldest fish sauce production sites in Phu Quoc, known by a large number of Vietnamese and international guests. Here, hundreds of wooden crates are lined up along the workshop along with a modern fishing boat system that makes visitors overwhelmed. Besides, Khai Hoan also owns a closed production process, creating hygienic, safe and high quality products. The barrel house is open to visitors for free daily. The price per liter of fish sauce ranges from 110,000 - 170,000 VND depending on the high and low protein level.
