The owner of Langmandi is probably quite dreamy with endless creativity because each room here has a very unique color that we can hardly find anywhere else. The Hazelnut room is a blend of classic and modern features full of European and American retro style in the 1920s - 1960s. Or the Cairo Room has the shape of ancient, mysterious and charismatic Egyptian architecture, or a romantic, pensive Circus.

We travelled on an intrepid premium tour and they had changed our hotel from a nicer hotel to Anatole due to Christmas season.
Mixed review for this one. We stayed there twice during our stay - so different days and different rooms.
Room 205 is very noisy. I don’t know if it’s all rooms on lower levels near street front or if it’s just that the sliding door seals are defective but room is very loud. Horn noises, yelling, construction - you will hear everything clearly. They were not able to change our room to a higher floor as they were fully booked.
We were put in room 605 for the second stay which was significantly better as it is higher up and wasn’t noisy.
Rooms were nice no complaints. Only feedback I have is that firmer pillows would be nice. Shower is in the bathtub with a shower curtain so floor gets quite wet and being a narrow bath - would be hard for larger or older people just a note. No stars lost for these.
Breakfast spread not bad.
This review would have gotten 4 stars however on checkout, I was pulled aside while walking out with my tour group at the last minute and was accused of taking a black fake leather branded decoration pad from the room! Embarrassed me in front of my tour group and they were in the bus on a busy narrow street all waiting for me. Eventually after much discussion I said that I didn’t take it and would have no use for it - handle it with the tour company and I walked out.
Also what’s the deal with the hotel only being able to issue one room key - such a hassle.
Side note that Minh the customer service person is very friendly and genuinely caring about guests. Working mornings and night times always with a smile - without him this would be 2 stars. Really liked him, just wish the staff had the common sense not to accuse guests of stealing things that there is no use to steal. I would never have considered this hotel if it wasn’t a part of the tour - would have booked a 5 star or much preferred the online profile of the original hotel on the itinerary which looked much better.
