Mausoleum of Kien Thai Vuong
Add collectionContact Information
The Mausoleum of Kien Thai Vuong is located on a crossroads located in the southwest of Hue city in Thuy Xuan ward, next to the mausoleum of King Dong Khanh. Kien Thai Vuong was the father of three kings of the Nguyen Dynasty: Dong Khanh, Kien Phuc and Ham Nghi.
The mausoleum architecture exudes a quiet and mossy beauty with the attraction of diverse but very different and unique ancient features not only in the art of decoration and shaping but also in the architectural structure and spatial landscape. In particular, the mausoleum has a pavilion located on 2 sides while all other tombs have only one pavilion, inlaid with crockery similar to the art of porcelain mosaic in the Khai Thanh Palace of Khai Dinh mausoleum.
