Khiem Tho Mausoleum
Add collectionContact Information
In the north of the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, there is a smaller but very beautiful tomb, where Empress Le Thien Anh is buried. Her tomb is called Khiem Tho mausoleum.
The mausoleum has the typical structure of the tombs of the queens of the Nguyen Dynasty with four floors, led up by a system of steps. The most unique feature in the Khiem Tho mausoleum is the screens that are exquisitely decorated with ceramic pieces. The shapes of the letters, the moon worship, the birds and turtles are vividly created by the talented hands of skilled workers. More than 100 years have passed, but these patterns are still quite intact.
Today, her tomb is regularly visited by visitors.

Unexpectedly good traditional music. Preserved tradition. Your money will be worth your while. It’s truly one-of-a-kind experience.
