Very Good

We enjoyed our 3 nights at the Eco Lodge. It s a fairly new hotel (2 months old). Our room was spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast was good with lots of options buffet-style, and their staff was very attentive. We had transport arranged through the hotel from airport and then onto Hue, which the hotel sorted out for us with minimal effort. Their bellman, Mr Hung, was great! He was super nice and friendly and we chatted lots. I would say that some of the staff were on the junior side, so sometimes we would be approached by multiple staff asking us the same questions but it was okay, they were just being hospitable and friendly. The hotel is a little far from the old town - we had imagined that we d ride bikes into town but it was so hot that we couldn t do it! Also to note - on weekends or holidays, it is near impossible to get a taxi back from the old town, it s absolute mayhem. We ended up riding on the back of a guy s scooter (by we, I mean me and my boyfriend AND the guy) who didn t know the way but managed to find the hotel, bless his heart! So I would definitely advise caution on asking the hotel on how to deal with the situation if transport is not possible - it takes 45 minutes to an hour walking back through dark fields so I wouldn t recommend it unless you really know your way around.
