Ba Be Lake is one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in Vietnam, belonging to Ba Be National Park, which is a popular ecotourism destination.
Ba Be Lake is located 70 km from Bac Kan city. The lake is made up of three lakes Pé Leng, Pé Lù and Pé Sai, surrounded by limestone mountains and has many underground springs and caves. Ba Be has many species of freshwater fish, including especially rare species recorded in the Red Book of Vietnam such as orca carp, blue barb, fried fish.
Visiting Ba Be Lake, visitors can choose to rent canoes, kayaks, SUPs (stand-up paddle boards) or carpentry boats. In addition, lakeside camping is a new experience that many visitors love. Some reference locations include: Alluvial land at the end of the Leng River in Pac Ngoi village, Hoi Xuan beach, Lac Ivory garden, Puong cave.

Great place to relax, we were lucky to come off season. Almost nobody outside. Peaceful atmosphere comparing with top season crowded place.
