An Ma Temple

An Ma Island is a limestone island located in the bed of Ba Be Lake, with a turtle shell-shaped frame, rising about 30 m high in the middle of Ba Be Lake. The whole island is covered with greenery. This is an extremely convenient point to see the natural surroundings of Ba Be lake and birds and animals in the forest. On the island, there is also an extremely sacred temple called An Ma Temple worshipping the forest god of the lake, the mother of Thuong Ngan, Lord Son Trang, and the Holy Tran,... Every year, from January 10 to 12 of the lunar calendar, the villagers organize the Long Tong festival, come to the temple ceremony to pray for peace and blessings. Folklore says that An Ma temple is very sacred, and sincere people who come here will pray for anything. Not only the innermost people, but many people from far away come here to pray for fate, prayers, fame and fortune are all satisfied.
