I am not a hotel guest, but I chose Ren Spa for weekend relaxation. I didn t hesitate to spend a considerable amount of money with the expectation of a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
The staff warmly welcomed me, and the massage therapists were very polite. However, the terrible part happened when I got on the massage table; my chin was constantly uncomfortable and irritated. I had to keep changing positions. The massage therapist noticed my discomfort and added a towel underneath me, but it didn t help at all. I was completely uncomfortable throughout the time I was lying face down. By the time I turned over, my chin was already sore from earlier, so I couldn t enjoy the massage at all.
I have reported this issue to the staff after completing the massage session.
I will never return unless you replace the table with a more comfortable one. I really want to give a one-star or even zero-star rating, but I think that would be unfair to the hardworking staff. So, I will give 4 stars, but understand that I give 5 stars for the staff and zero for your equipment
