Trung Trang Cave
Add collectionContact Information
Trung Trang Cave is a natural cave through the mountain with a length of about 300m. Inside the cave is a system of stalactites and stalagmites here large, shaped, sparkling, about 6 million years old, still formed by dripping water crevices. It also contains archaeological remains of ancient Vietnamese.
Trung Trang Cave is located in Trung Trang valley and about 1km from the center of Cat Ba National Park. From Cat Ba town, visitors can go northwest for about 15km to reach the cave quickly and easily. Thanks to its location near the natural Kim Giao forest, the surrounding cave has quite cool air, convenient for visitors to visit.
During the resistance period, the cave was used by the Command as a place to station troops, so it was also called the Navy Cave. Here, there are still many traces of the heroic history of the Vietnamese militia in the work of building and holding water on the island.
Entrance tickets are 80,000 VND/pax.
