Bai Dinh Pagoda boasts the largest pagoda complex in Vietnam, which has marked many Asian and Vietnamese records, from the largest gold-plated bronze Buddha statue in Asia, to Asia's longest La Han corridor and the largest bronze Maitreya statue in Southeast Asia. This place is a majestic spiritual and historical gathering place, attracting thousands of visitors from all over to visit and admire.
With the expansion and construction of the new temple during World Vesak Day 2008 and the inauguration of phase 1 in 2010, Bai Dinh Pagoda has become a particularly important cultural and religious destination. It also witnessed a historic event when it organized the first Buddha relics ceremony from India to Vietnam and the United Nations Vesak Day 2014.
Located in a prime location, next to Hoa Lu ancient capital and Trang An world heritage complex, Bai Dinh Pagoda is a stop not to be missed when traveling to Ninh Binh.
