Sin Cheng Market

Located only 3km from the border, Sin Cheng is considered the most remote market in Lao Cai. From the center of Si Ma Cai district to Sin Cheng commune is only about 12km but full of zigzag bends, folding on the rocky side of the mountain. And although it is far away, the atmosphere in the market is always busy and crowded. The market is a meeting place for many ethnic people: Mong, Nung, Tay, Thu Lao,... around the area of Sin Cheng commune to exchange, exchange and trade. Sin Cheng Market only meets once a week every Wednesday. Although not as large as Bac Ha market, the items at Sin Cheng market are also very diverse and rich, from local products to cuisine.
