Soc Trang Khmer Museum

Khmer Museum is a Soc Trang tourist destination that attracts visitors every year, the institute was built in 1938 including two main areas: Xamacum Cathedral Exhibition Area and Office Area. The museum displays many rare cultural products, recreating ancient Khmer costumes, houses, pagodas, musical instruments of Khmer people in previous dynasties. Up to now, the Khmer Museum has collected nearly 13,000 kinds of precious cultural products, of which more than half are cultural products donated by Khmer people living in the region. Every year, the Museum attracts more than 200,000 domestic and foreign tourists to visit and learn about the cultural and historical beauty of the three ethnic groups of Kinh, Chinese, Khmer and patriotic tradition against foreign invasion of his father.
