Hieu Village, located in Co Lung commune, Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa province, is part of Pu Luong nature reserve. It is mainly inhabited by the Thai community, located along the Hieu stream, with more than a hundred houses on stilts.
When arriving in Hieu village, the first impression is a peaceful scene with traditional stilt houses, showing Thai cultural identity. These houses are entirely constructed from natural materials such as bamboo and rattan, with indigenous patterns, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Hieu village is about 180km from Hanoi. On the way to the village, visitors can enjoy the scenery of green terraced fields and the soothing sound of Hieu stream, creating an attractive and beautiful picture. Along Hieu village, there are a total of 5 waterfalls collectively known as Hieu Waterfall. Guests can participate in the community tourism experience by staying in cozy stilt houses and watching the serene mountain scenery.
