A Ho homestay is located right in the middle of the junction, very convenient to move to tourist destinations such as Lung Po flagpole, Den Sang, Muong Hum, terraced fields in Lao Chai village,... The room system at A Ho homestay is designed in the style of simple stilt house architecture with characteristics of Nhi Ha ethnic group with furniture entirely from natural wood and can accommodate up to 50 people.
The homestay has double rooms, rooms for families and a large deck for about 20 people to lie down. Homestay also has a small hut so that visitors can sit and enjoy the natural scenery and sip a cup of tea and hot coffee.

Chúng tôi ở lại ba đêm tại homestay của Ho Khanh. Nó nằm ngay trên dòng sông, và nó chỉ là cảnh quan tuyệt đẹp. Stayed there for 4 nights with my wife on our visit to Phong Nha. Currently there are 3 Bungalows, we stayed at the one right on the river bank and woke up to an amazing view of the Song river. I just loved this.
The bungalows themselves are very clean, very simple, with their own clean bathroom and hot water (very important in the weather now as it gets quite cold especially at night)
The staff are very friendly with some basic English. They helped us arrange for motorbike rentals and transfers to and fro Dong Hoi for our arrival and departure.
However, i do believe we did not get great value for the rentals, we read on wikitravel that we could get them at half what we paid, not to mention they came with ZERO gas inside them. So make sure you haggle a bit.
The room price themselves are $50 per night including breakfast, which is higher than you pay elsewhere, but i didn t mind paying extra for the spacious clean bungalow by the river bank :)
Oh and did I mention their chocolate coffee is the best thing i ever had anywhere in the world?! highly recommended WITH THE ICE.
The verdict: Highly recommended for the stay and the coffee. Do your research before you take their offer on stuff offered through others (motorcycle rentals, etc.)
