Tour Itinerary

Hanoi - Transfer Sapa. Half day trek tour

06:45 - 07:00

We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and start our journey towards Sapa

9:30

Follow the highway to Lao Cai city where you will make your first stop for breakfast

11:00

Stop off at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa

12:30

Arrive at Sapa Town, where you'll see the colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao and Tay People. Enjoy a lunch of local Vietnamese dishes in the hotel

14:30

Take a short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village, home of the Black H’mong ethnic people and located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll gain more knowledge about the daily life of the locals. Trek down to the valley's bottom to visit the waterfall, which was once home to a hydraulic power station built by the French. Stop to take photos before walking back uphill to meet the bus.

17:00

Return to Sapa Town. Our knowledgeable staff will recommend excellent local restaurants for your dinner, and you'll spend the night in the Sapa Centre.

Trekking Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (Breakfast/Lunch)

Have breakfast at your hotel

Take a Trek to Y Linh Ho, passing through picturesque rice terraces and alongside Muong Hoa Streams to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. See the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain before heading to Ta Van village, home of the Dzay People. The trek takes around 3.5 hours and covers about 12 kilometers.

Our tour guide will customize the best itinerary based on your trekking abilities

The bus will pick you up at Ta Van Bridge to take you back to Sapa center.

Lunch at local restaurant


In the afternoon, you will discover Sapa City Center by yourself

Have breakfast at your hotel and pack lightly for the upcoming trek. You can store your luggage at the reception.

09:45

From Sapa Center take a Train to the Cable car station and take the 20-minute cable car ride up Fansipan. You can get advice from the receptionist to easily come there. Admire the spectacular scenery, visit the pagodas, and climb the 600 steps to the peak, known as the Roof of Indochina.

12:00 – 13:00

Take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch at your hotel.

14:30

Get back on the bus to go back to Hanoi. During the journey you will stop for a break

21:00

Arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi.

If you do not want to attend the long Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van trek or Cat Cat Trek Tour on day 2, our tour guide will help you to visit another location. You are responsible for all ticket and transportation costs

Elderly people should not attend the 9 kilometer trek, due to its challenging nature

Handicapped people and children under 6 should not take part in the treks

The driver from Hanoi to Sapa can speaks very little English

Check-in at the hotel in Sapa is at 1:30 PM. Check out is at 10:00 AM. If you want to keep the room, the room charge will be applied based on availability
