Translated by Bing
Although it is only in 36 short hours, when setting foot in these places, any foreign tourist can clearly feel the rhythm of life, understand more about cuisine and people on the land of "thousand years of civilization" of Vietnam.

Chris Humphrey, a freelance writer for the New York Times, has just published an article suggesting interesting destinations in Hanoi.

On Friday nights, visitors should spend time exploring the city center by strolling around the Ho Kiem pedestrian street, then stopping by Tam Vi, a Michelin-starred restaurant, for a Northern family meal.

According to the newspaper's writer New York Timesfinish On Friday evening, visitors can visit a small bar with a nostalgic style, inspired by the films of director Vuong Gia Wei, on Hai Ba Trung Street.

On Saturday morning, visitors can stop by the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam and the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, which are monuments imbued with the history of Vietnam.

After enjoying a delicious cup of coffee at an old French villa on Chan Cam Street, Chris suggested that visitors should try a new feeling by participating in a street food tour by motorbike organized by Vespa Adventures.

"Sitting on an antique Vespa motorbike weaving through the streets of Hanoi, enjoying popular dishes such as vermicelli or bread, is a worthwhile experience," he wrote.

The motorbike tour also takes visitors through the most famous attractions in the capital such as the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, the Opera House,...

Thang Long fish cake is Chris's recommended dish for dinner on Saturday. Chapter Restaurant on Chan Cam Street is also a high-end choice for diners who prefer an open kitchen space.

During the break after dinner, Chris suggested that visitors can stop by a jazz bar in Hoan Kiem district.
