Alma Resort on Cam Ranh Peninsula will organize many exciting activities for the whole family for the upcoming year-end festive season. Many fun activities for children will also be organized throughout the festive season such as making Christmas cards at the Children's Play Area with children from Charity Tam Shelter, decorating the gingerbread house at the Cake Kitchen and treasure hunting with Santa Claus on the grounds of the 30-hectare beachfront resort.
During the best time of the year, Alma will display Vietnam's largest gingerbread house made from 232 kg of flour – including 800 "wall tiles" (each weighing 155 gr), 1,200 "roofing tiles" (each weighing 90 gr), and 40 kg of "thread tiles". It is expected that the process of kneading the dough, molding the cake and drying each sheet of gingerbread takes about 2 months and the process of erecting and completing the house will take about two days.
On 10/12, there will be a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Alma Lounge and the unveiling of the gingerbread house and winter wonderland miniature at Alma Food Court, promising to be a beautiful check-in photo spot for visitors during the festive season. Guests will enjoy Christmas desserts such as stollen bread, cakes, cookies and, of course, gingerbread.
Visitors to the American Bar will be guided through a selection of fine wines paired with handcrafted cheese on Dec. 23 and 30 between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.
In addition to the special breakfast buffet on December 24, 25, 31, 2023 and January 1, 2024, Alma will serve Champagne breakfast on a floating tray at the villa's private pool or at one of the 12 pools with views of Long Beach.
Santa Claus will appear in the lobby to take photos with visitors, and join the fun Minions to give gifts and balloons to the children on the resort grounds on Christmas Eve (24/12) and Christmas Day (25/12). Santa Claus will also appear and give gifts at private apartments and villas upon request of guests.
Atlantis Restaurant will serve an à la carte dinner with a variety of fresh local seafood in the festive atmosphere of Christmas Eve.
To melodious music performed by resident pianists, La Casa restaurant will host a 5-course dinner party on Christmas Eve (24/12) and New Year's Eve (31/12) with exquisite dishes such as 'Grilled Japanese scallops, broccoli cream soup, sea urchin and Iranian saffron sauce' and 'Pan-fried Japanese Wagyu Beef with Roasted Tomatoes', Grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes, stir-fried needle mushrooms and deep-fried purple potatoes'.
Alma Garden Restaurant will host a Christmas Eve buffet (24/12) featuring thermidor oven-fired seafood, Australian beef with green pepper sauce, whole roast turkey, Wellington salmon, roast duck with hoisin sauce and deep-fried crab cake. The New Year's Eve buffet will feature a variety of options such as grilled tiger shrimp with garlic butter, Australian lamb thighs in red wine sauce, pan-fried Norwegian salmon with lemon butter sauce and Kilpatrick oysters.
Alma will welcome 2024 at the Alma Lounge with a countdown party with exciting entertainment, fun games and special prizes. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes with "white, black and gold" accents.
The resort will also host a handicraft market on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31, 2023) and New Year's Day (Jan. 1, 2024). Children also participate in many activities throughout the festive program such as making gift boxes, trees, Christmas bells and snowflakes, painting costumes and enjoying many Christmas movies.
In addition to many promotions such as a 140-minute 'Body Nourishment Package' including back massage with herbal packs, herbal foot soaking and massage, hair shampoo and facials, Le Spa will host massage classes in the morning and afternoon from Monday to Friday from December 11, 2023 to March 1, 2024.
