From 22/3, at Thi Complaint lagoon (Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province ) took place the last day of competition of the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh. 55 riders from 26 countries continue to enter the Motorcycle 2 and Motorcycle 3 races to determine the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh race champions.



The riders had performances right at Thi Nai lagoon. With a water surface area of up to 5,000ha, a width of nearly 4km, this is considered an ideal place for races that need speed and precision such as jet skis, Formula 1 motorboats.


The UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh takes place from 22/3 – 24/3 at Thi Nai Lagoon, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province. This is the first time Vietnam has been named on the map of speed and adventure sports on water such as motorboat racing, jet ski racing.



The tournament consists of 4 competition categories: Runabout GP1 is the highest speed class, using a two-seater jet ski, which can be used or controlled at a speed of up to 170km / h; Ski Division GP1 & Ski Ladies GP1 for men and women combine speed, skill and power, showcasing eye-catching action and breathtaking races. The Freestyle class offers extraordinary artistic performances and spectacular aerial acrobatics.



After 3 days of competition, excellent riders from all over the world gave the audience extremely thrilling and unique performances.



After the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh, the UIM-ABP World Championship will continue its journey to find the crown in 2024 at the following locations: EUROPE (31/5 – 2/6); Grand Prix of Italy (June 21 – June 23); EUROPE (01/7– 4/7); Grand Prix of Indonesia (November 23 – November 24). The overall champion is decided by the sum of the accumulated points of the stages.
