62 riders from 26 countries around the world registered to participate in the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship in the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh.

From March 22, at Thi Nai lagoon (Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province ), the last day of competition of the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh took place. 55 riders from 26 countries continued to enter the Motorcycle 2 and Motorcycle 3 races to determine the champions of the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh.



The riders had competitions right at Thi Nai lagoon. With a water surface area of up to 5,000 hectares and a width of nearly 4km, this is considered an ideal location for races that require speed and precision such as jet skis, Formula 1 motorboats.


The UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship Grand Prix of Binh Dinh took place from March 22 to March 24 at Thi Nai lagoon, Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province. This is the first time that Vietnam has been named on the map of speed and adventure sports on the water such as motorboat racing and jet ski racing.



The tournament consists of 4 competition categories: Runabout GP1 is the highest speed category, using a two-seater jet ski, which can be right or seated at a speed of up to 170km/h; The men's and women's Ski Division GP1 & Ski Ladies GP1 combine speed, skill and power to deliver eye-catching action and breathtaking races. The Freestyle class offers extraordinary art performances and spectacular aerial aerobatics.



After 3 days of competition, excellent riders from all over the world gave the audience extremely thrilling and unique performances.



After the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh, the UIM-ABP World Championship will continue its journey to find the crown in 2024 at the following locations: EUROPE (31/5 – 2/6); Grand Prix of Italy (21/6 – 23/6); EUROPE (01/7– 4/7); Grand Prix of Indonesia (23/11 – 24/11). The overall champion is determined by the total accumulated points of the stages.
