Participating in the festival there are up to 200 stalls with more than 100 types of colorful folk cakes. As soon as you arrive here, you will be overwhelmed with the "cake party" that is unfolding in front of you. Which are beef cakes, silkworm cakes, khot cakes, offering cakes, cuff cakes, cast cakes, banana cakes, and rolls,... All those delicious cakes are reminiscent of the peaceful childhood of each child in the countryside and rivers.

Folk cakes originate from the community, are traditional and close to the people of the South. In the development process, it may be varied and refreshed, but it must be suitable for the taste and culinary culture of the people.

In particular, the color of the cakes does not use auxiliary ingredients at all. The artisans use natural colors such as: red from gac fruit and beetroot, yellow from turmeric, green from pea flowers, green from pandan leaves, purple from brocade leaves.

The offering cake has a gentle aroma, made from rice flour, wheat flour, coconut milk, sugar... Mix the liquid and steam it in a leaf roll, rich in the sweetness and fat of coconut milk.


Banh Khot, pancakes are one of the most expensive stalls of the festival. Wherever the cakes are poured, they are sold out, customers eat on the spot to enjoy the hot cakes that have just come out of the oven.

Banh khot has mung bean filling, minced meat, fragrant green onions, spices, add a little fatty coconut milk when the cake is about to cook. Southern banh khot has a soft crust, served with raw vegetables and dipped in sweet and sour fish sauce.


Gong cakes and orange cakes are reminiscent of the childhood of Western people, are used as a light breakfast and are always present in country markets.


The "tiny" version of ash water tacos, meat bean tacos, and banana cakes are enough for one user, along with dumplings, coconut leaf cakes... The price is from 5,000 to 15,000 VND/piece, which is quite beautiful.


The cake has a shell made of soft sticky rice flour, filled with meat and shrimp marinated in a rich flavor. The cake is cooked white, cut into bite-sized pieces, dipped with sweet and sour fish sauce.
