All these delicious cakes are reminiscent of the peaceful childhood of each child in the countryside of the river.




Folk cakes originate from the community, are traditional and close to the people of the South. In the process of development, it may be varied and refreshed, but must be suitable for the taste as well as culinary culture of the people.



In particular, the color of the cakes does not use auxiliary ingredients at all. Artisans use natural colors such as: red from gac fruit and beetroot, yellow from turmeric, blue from pea flowers, green from pandan leaves, purple from carnation leaves.




Folk cakes are processed with beautiful forms, eye-catching colors, showing local and regional characteristics.


The offering cake has a gentle aroma, made from rice flour, flour, coconut milk, sugar ... The liquid phase is steamed in leaf rolls, rich in sweet and fatty coconut milk.



Banh khot, pancakes are one of the most popular booths in the festival. Where the cakes are sold out, guests eat on the spot to enjoy the hot cakes freshly baked.



The cake is filled with green beans, minced meat, fragrant green onions, spices, add some fatty coconut milk when the cake is about to cook. Southern cakes have a soft crust, served with raw vegetables and dipped in sweet and sour fish sauce.



Cuffs, orange cakes reminiscent of Western childhood, are served as a light breakfast and are always present in country markets.



Ash water tacos, meat bean cakes and banana fillings are enough for one user, along with dumplings, coconut leaf cakes ... The price from 5,000 to 15,000 VND / piece is quite beautiful.



The bare-bones little cake has a crust made of soft glutinous flour, filled with rich flavored shrimp and meat. The cooked cake is white, cut into bite-sized pieces, dipped with sweet and sour fish sauce.
