Located about 7km from the center of Dong Van town, Thien Huong ancient village is more than 100 years old and attracts all visitors at first sight because of its timeless beauty.

Thien Huong village (also known as Ma Pang village) is about 30 minutes away from the center of Dong Van town. Moving into the village, visitors will encounter the image of walled houses with ancient roofs that are more than 100 years old.

The houses here are built in an ancient architectural style with yin and yang tile roofs and walls made of earth. In the house, the space is divided into 2 compartments, the lower compartment is for cooking and living, and the upper compartment contains furniture.

Thien Huong Ancient Village is a place that possesses quite pristine beauty. Although it has been a hundred years, the landscape does not seem to have changed. From the road, the old house to the interior of the house. The scenery here is really peaceful, bringing a sense of relaxation and comfort.

Thien Huong village is the residence of the Tay ethnic group. They make a living by farming and producing wine. Here, women often wear a traditional black ao dai and wrap a scarf on their heads when going to work. The children in the village are very cute, leaving a strong impression in the hearts of female tourists in Saigon. They often go to the multi-headed roots of the village to play and read.

The people in the ancient village have a long tradition of making wine, creating a specialty that tourists from all over the world enjoy here. Going through a feat of processing, taking a lot of time and effort, the people in the village have only obtained a liter of Thien Huong wine.

To make the famous delicious wine, local people have to pick more than 30 types of medicinal leaves to make yeast, then take the corn and pour it into cooking. When the corn grows as big as a finger, pour it out to dry to cool down. Next, the yeast is pounded, mixed well and piled up, and brewed thoroughly in bags. After a week, it was taken out and stored into wine. Thien Huong wine is wonderfully processed, has a delicious, sweet taste, drinks with a smooth and warm feeling, unlike other traditional wines.

Coming to Thien Huong ancient village, Ms. Van not only enjoyed the famous delicious corn wine but also participated in many interesting activities and experiences such as wading in streams, catching fish, and enjoying with yeast corn wine,...

When walking around the village, you will meet the old people and uncles who are very hospitable. As long as you want to learn basket weaving, linen weaving or baking,... they will happily agree and enthusiastically guide. Dishes are simple but no less delicious and attractive in this village such as pho cakes, beef cakes,... with a distinct taste.
