The shop opened in 1998, but according to her, the space is in a house built in 1918. Up to now, despite more than 100 years, the structure of the house has remained the same. In the house, there are also many antiques such as couplets, diaphragms ... from their lives.
The yard is large with many trees. The design is divided into three naves: the main, middle and back naves.
The main pavilion is a one-story old house. The nave is a skylight connected to the rear coffee area. The back nave consists of four floors, to get here, visitors will pass through a spiral staircase. In which, the first and second floors are the common living places of Ms. Loan's family. The third and fourth floors are indoor and outdoor coffee spaces.
Entering the shop, visitors are completely immersed in the deserted space, separated from the bustle of the city.
The middle area is renovated and restored by the owner to build a mezzanine floor suitable for visitors who like the tranquility, find the old place. The rooftop is also a sought-after location for diners. Sitting here, visitors can sip coffee while watching both Hoan Kiem Lake and Turtle Tower.
If you come to the shop for the first time, visitors have to struggle because the shop is in a hidden position, easy to confuse. The entrance to the shop is modest in size, just enough for a motorbike to pass, making it somewhat difficult to move. Limited parking area, if crowded, guests should park outside before coming to the shop.
