Discover the 4 poles of Vietnam - the dream milestones of traveling believers

Translated by Bing
The people still affirm to each other, must go all four poles a peak to be a backpacker. Lung Cu, A Pa Chai, Mui Doi, Dat Mui are 4 sacred landmarks of Vietnam that everyone wants to visit once in their life.

1. North Pole - Tung Cú, Ha Giang

Located on Dragon Mountain in Tung Cú commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, The Tung Cú flagpole is the northernmost symbol of Vietnam. About 160km from Ha Giang city, The Tung Cú flagpole is a must-see destination for devotees moving when coming to the "blooming rock". In fact, the north pole is most accurate in terms of coordinates a few kilometers north of the flagpole, where the Nho Que River empties into Vietnamese soil.

To reach the flagpole of Tung Cú, you will go through dong van rock plateau. At the foot of the flagpole is The Lo Chai village. In recent years, Lo Lo Chai village has developed community tourism, so there are many homestays for visitors to rest when visiting the North Pole.

The right time to come to the FlagPole is autumn (September - October), when the rice begins to ripen, the weather is cool, pleasant.

2. WesternMost Point - A Pa Chai, Dien Bien

A Pa Chai is located on top of Ca La San in Sín Thầu commune, Muong Cu district, Dien Bien province, about 260km from Dien Bien Phu city and Hanoi about 750km. Because it is a border milestone between the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - China, A Pa Chai is also known as "where the chicken crows 3 countries all listen".

To visit milestone 0, you need to bring your ID, then register with A Pa Chai border post. Here, you will be guided by border guards. From the border post A Pa Chai to the triangular landmark No. 0 you go a long way of nearly 10 km. Currently, the road leading up to the landmark has been concreted so it is quite easy for visitors to visit.

The right time to visit A Pa Chai is in March, when the ban flowers - the characteristic flower of this land - bloom throughout the mountains and forests. In addition, in September-October, the dien Bien fields dyed rice yellow.

3. EasternMost Point - Double Cape, Khanh Hoa

The easternmost point of Vietnam is identified as Mui Hai in Van Thanh commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province. This is the first sun spot on land in Vietnam. Before the Double Nose was discovered, The Electric Nose (Phu Yen) was thought to be the easternmost point.

Conquering Double Cape is a journey that requires great effort when you have to overcome diverse terrain from sand dunes, trekking 8km of forest roads, mountain slopes, rocky rapids ... After walking from Dam Mon, you should camp in Rang Beach at night to move to the east before dawn, in time to catch the first rays of the new day.

The first period of the year, from January to May is best suited to reach this easternmost point because the temperature is not too high and not yet the rainy season.

4. South Pole - Cape Land, Ca Mau

The southernmost point of the Fatherland is located in Dat Mui commune (Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau) about 110km from the center of Ca Mau city. After Ho Chi Minh Road extends to this land, visitors can set foot in Mui Mui land by road, besides canoeing as before. At Mui Mui, there is the symbol of the boat facing the sea and the landmark at the end of Ho Chi Minh Road. It is also the only place in Vietnam that can watch the sun rise and set on the sea when standing in the same position.

Coming to Mui Mui, in addition to visiting and taking souvenir photos with the sacred symbols of the Fatherland, you can take a train through mangrove forests, fish forests to catch the dawn in the mudflat, enjoy the scenery and breathe the fresh air of the forest and sea.

From December of the previous year to April next year will be the right time to come to Cape Land because of the sunny weather.
